Two unique attractions adjoin the Sanilac State Game Area. They are a handicap hunting trail and the Sanilac County Petrogylphs Park and Nature Trail. The symbolic carvings - petrogylphs - on a sandstone outcrop are believed to be between 600 and 800 years old and may have had religious significance to Native Americans who once camped in the area. This park is located on Germania Road, just south of Bay City - Forestville Road.
The Handicap Hunting facility is a half mile asphalt trial which provides hunting access to a portion of the game area for wheelchair bound persons.
