Pastor Michael Teuscher will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to St. Peter’s Lutheran church or Heritage Hill Assisted Living of Caro. Waldo is survived by his children: David (Donna) Sting of Unionville, Joanne Reinbold of Caro, and Thomas (Janice) Sting of Sebewaing; grandchildren: Matthew (Michelle) Sting, Grant Sting, Aaron (Heather) Reinbold, Sara (Steven) Katenhus, Daniel (Tracey) Reinbold, Steven (Melinda) Reinbold, Leslie Reinbold (fiance Rick Wagner) Bradley Sting (fiance Becky Sweetman), Angela (David) Hughes and Kristy Sting; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Arlene Becker of Sebewaing; and sister-in-law, Katherine Wissner. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and siblings: Nora Schram, Milton Sting and Gerhard Sting.
Waldo B. Sting, age 96, of Unionville, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Heritage Hill Assisted Living in Caro. He was born in Sebewaing on December 29, 1916 to the late Theodore J. & Rosina C. (Schweitzer) Sting. On August 28, 1943 he married Anna (Muelrath) at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2007. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, caring for his fruit trees, traveling, square dancing, cooking and baking. Waldo was a member at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in the Bach/Sebewaing area serving on numerous boards. He farmed his entire life and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
