Funeral Information

Funeral mass for Marian Essenmacher will be Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church of Harbor Beach, with Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Church Cemetery. Visitation for Marian will be Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 3-9pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Monday will be in the church beginning at 10am until time of services at 11:30 am. A Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be held at 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home, and a Parish Vigil Service will take place at 7:30 pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.

She is survived by her children: Judy Artman and her husband Don of New Baltimore, Karen Holdwick of Sterling Heights, Rita Scrase of Fenton, Kurt Essenmacher of Pataskala, Ohio, Cheryl Waskin and her husband John of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Gordon Essenmacher and his wife Bonnie of Metamora, Roger Essenmacher and special friend Pamela of Shelby Township, Randy Essenmacher and his wife Gerri of New Baltimore, Clark Essenmacher and his wife Peggy of Sterling Heights, Marsha Chuhran and her husband Frank of Clinton Township, 24 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by a son-in-law Ken Holdwick, and siblings: Rosalind Polk, Lauretta Messing, Emma Kolar, John Stacer, Simon Stacer and Joseph Stacer.

Biography

Marian Essenmacher, age 93 of Harbor Beach, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at Harbor Chase of Sterling Heights. She was born on July 30, 1919 in Harbor Beach to the late Joseph and Mary (Volmering) Stacer. Marian and David Essenmacher were united in marriage on September 3, 1940 in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Helena. David preceded her in death on January 23, 2003. Marian was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, and the Daughters of Isabella.
