Funeral Information

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Sheridan Township. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-8pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde and Monday from 10-11:00am at the church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald of Bad Axe; her children, Colleen (Richard) Divine of Mt. Pleasant, Fred (Holly) McIntyre of Bad Axe, Neil (Debra) McIntyre of Dayton, MD, Brad (Jennie) McIntyre of Tampa, FL, Kathleen McIntyre of Royal Oak, Kerrie (Darren) Lubeski of Ubly, and Kurt (Kelli) McIntyre of Bad Axe; her grandchildren, Rachael and Connor McIntyre, Bryce, Drew, and Paige McIntyre, Peyton and Reese McLellan, Alexis, McKenzie, and Chase McIntyre, Leah and Alex Lubeski, and Shayler and Brynlee McIntyre. She is also survived by her brother, Lawrence Klass of Alabama, her Mother-In-Law, Vera Sosnoski of Kinde, and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred, Sal, Arthur, and Harold and her sisters, Irene Kelkie and Dorothy.

Biography

Mary E. McIntyre, 73, of Bad Axe, died Friday, May 17, 2013 at Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. She was born on February 2, 1940 in Bay City, daughter of the late Lawrence and Barbara Klass. She married Donald McIntyre on December 28, 1962 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Sheridan Township. Mary received her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University. She worked at the Bad Axe Library from 1973 up to the present. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, the Indian Trails Riding Club, and long-time member of 4-H and the Michigan Trail Riders Association. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, birds, walking in the woods, and campfires.
