He is survived by his wife Margo Phillips of Harbor Beach, and daughters: Laura Phillips of Lansing, and Tonya Phillips-Roof and her husband Jake of Hope, New Jersey. He is also survived by his step-mother: Mary Jane Phillips of Caro, his siblings: David Phillips and his wife Shirley of Caro, Sandy VanDerpool and her husband Jerry of Kingston, and Kim Hawkins and her husband Rick of Cadillac, and his step-siblings: Janelle Dickinson and her husband Dan of Cass City, Faith Miller and her husband Jack of Caro, and Wayne Phillips and her husband Tammy of Caro.

Biography

CHARLES A. PHILLIPS, age 63 of Harbor Beach, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 22, 1951 in Caro to the late Charles and Mary Ann (Curry) Phillips. Charles and Margo Periard were united in marriage on June 15, 1974. Charles owned and operated Huron Laundry with his brother-in-law since 1986. He was also a former owner of the Hunter’s Inn in Bay City. Charles was a member of the Harbor Beach Rotary Club. He was an avid golfer and sports addict, he was always taking in as much sports as possible.
