He is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Lottie, and four brothers, Victor W., Russell C., J. Wayne, and Bruce E. Anderson.
Albertus C. “Al” Anderson, 94 of Pigeon, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Masonic Pathways Assisted Living in Alma. He was born August 14, 1922 on the family farm in Pigeon, and was the son of Charles and Lottie (Limberger) Anderson. Following his graduation from Pigeon High School, Al attended Michigan State University, and then served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II. Al farmed during his working career. He wintered in Florida for more than 40 years, where he had many friends. He loved playing pool in Florida where he won many championships. Al also enjoyed bowling and going to the Detroit Tiger spring training games in Lakeland.
