She is survived by five children: Nick (Patti Fritz) Henne, Wendy Bowlin, Nina Murdoch, Charles (Donna) Henne, and Ron Eimers, Jr.; grandchildren: Brian Murdoch, Jessica Kowalski, Bo (Deanne) Murdoch, Alissa (Kelly) Edwards, Andre’ (Morgan) Schillinger, Steve Henne, Ryan Henne, and Jamie Henne; great-grandchilden: Erin Murdoch, Peyton Edwards, Isabella Edwards, Baylor Schillinger, Barrett Schillinger, Matthew Murdoch, Christopher Bozich, Andrew Bozich, John Bozich, and Eli Henne; a sister, Betty Wisneski; and special friend and caregiver, Carrie. In addition to her husband Ron and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Henne (1977); granddaughter, Erin Schillinger (1988); grandson, Joey Henne (2001), and sister, Donna Fuerst (2013).
Alice Jane Eimers, age 80 of Bay Port, passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2014. Alice was born March 26, 1934 in Winsor Township and was the daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Dast) Elftman. She married Richard Henne in September 1950 and had five children: Nick, Wendy, Nina, Charles, and Steven. She married Ron Eimers in 1968 and he preceded her in death in 1990. Together, they had a son, Ron, Jr. Alice owned and operated Lefty’s Drive-In in Bay Port for many years. She loved talking with people, flowers, and bartending. She was a member of the Bay Port United Methodist Church.
