Ardis Jean Dean, age 77, of Bad Axe passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe. Ardis was born in Cass City on October 3, 1939, daughter of the late George and Verna (Lowe) Pettinger. She married Wayne Dean on April 21, 1973 in Bad Axe. She enjoyed animals and many sports, especially football and baseball.
