Betty is survived by her husband, Franklin; children: Deborah (Larry) Quick, Jim (Carol) Koch, and Karen (Rick) Heck; grandchildren: Jennifer (Ken) Lasceski, Kelsey (fiancé Brian Loeffler) Quick, Brad (Lisa) Koch, Beth Koch, Chad (Hannah) Koch, Chris Koch, Sammy (Sean) Clark, Miranda (Adam) Benfer, and Melissa Heck; 3 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Hilda Koch. Predeceased by son-in-law, Willie Czewski.
Betty Jane Koch, age 78, of Gagetown, passed away June 25, 2018, at Scheurer Longterm Care in Pigeon. Betty was born September 26, 1939, in Sebewaing, to Arnold and Lillie (Errer) Pobanz. After graduating from High School, she attended Northeastern School of Commerce. She married Franklin H. Koch on June 20, 1958, at the Owendale E.U.B. Church. Betty enjoyed making rag rugs, crocheting, making quilts at church for World Relief, playing piano, cooking, gardening, being an exhibitor at the Thumb Octagon Barn and was a member at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Bach.
