Funeral Information

Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, April 20th at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe with Rev. Kenneth Lueke officiating. Cremation to follow after service. Visitation will be 2 to 8 pm on Sunday, April 19th at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe and from 10 am until time of service on Monday, April 20th at the church. Betty is survived by her children: Bill (Karen) Roberts of Florida, David (Julie) Roberts of Kinde, Greg (Sue) Roberts of Palms; Tony (Krystin) Roberts of Port Austin, Eva (Gale) Duncan of Bad Axe, and Iva (David) Pickerell of Georgia; grandchildren: Benjamin Roberts, Amanda Roberts, Cari (Chris) Prill, Theresa (Ryan) Genis, Melissa Roberts, David Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Rebecca (Justin) Miller, Jessica Siemen, Alexandria Roberts, Austin Harris, Dakota Harris, William Pickerell, Cassandra Pickerell, Anthony Roberts, Katie Roberts and Devin Roberts; nine great grandchildren; brother Donald Landenberg of Bad Axe; sisters Doris McNeil of Bad Axe, and Carol Campbell of Bad Axe and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Carl R. Roberts, and grandsons Sean Roberts, and Hunter Duncan.

Biography

Betty M. Roberts, 75, of Verona Township, passed away peacefully at her home on April 10, 2015 with Heartland Hospice. Betty was born on November 28, 1939 to the late Carl and Dorothy (Mattice) Landenberg in Harbor Beach. On October 22, 1960 she married David C. Roberts at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe. He preceded her on April 13, 1998.
