Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children: Cynthia (Craig) Blay of St. Clair Shores, Robert Rees of Cass City, Douglas (Linda Acuna) Rees of Carsonville, Thomas Rees of St. Clair Shores; grandchildren: Jacqueline, Matthew, Jeffrey, Amanda, Melissa, Douglas, Emily, Kylie. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Bradley and his brother Esom "Jack" Rees.

Biography

Bob G. Rees, 77, of Cass City, formerly of St. Clair Shores and Lexington, died following a short illness Friday, February 15, 2013 in his home. He was born January 20, 1936 in Barbourville, KY to Benjamin Franklin and Rosa Catherine (Helton) Rees. He married Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Hojnocki April 23, 1959 in Roseville. Bob was a self-employed die maker. He was the owner of Superior Steel Ruel Die in Detroit. Bob loved his work. He was always working and inventing things. He was a talented innovator and could repair anything. Bob was a member of the former Masonic Acanthus #558 F & AM chapter in Grosse Pointe Woods. He enjoyed camping with his family and spending time at the lake with his family and friends.
