Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin with Fr. Craig Carolan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 – 8 pm on Friday, October 9th at the MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde with a Scripture service at 7 pm and on Saturday, October 10th 10 am until time of service at the church. Family of the Deceased

He is survived by several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Irene Strozeski and Gertrude Strozeski; one half sister-in-law, Agnes Jimpkoski; and caregiver/friend Lorraine Voss. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerome, Chester and Alex Strozeski; three half-brothers: Joh, Raymond, and Edward Jimpkoski; three half-sisters: Agnes Kanaski, Gertrude Leavine and Christine Klosowski; and one sister in law, Marian Strozeski.

Biography

Bobby James Strozeski, age 84, passed away on October 6, 2015 at his home. He was born April 23, 1931 to his late parents, Valentine and Helen (Miller) Strozeski in Dwight Township. Bob was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin. He was a member of the Grindstone/Port Hope Sportsman Club, and U and I in Port Austin. He enjoyed playing Euchre and attending the Tuscola County Fair to watch the draft horses.
