He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters, Sue Ellen (Andrew) Riesterer of Sterling Heights and Kelly Lynn Anderson of Caro; daughter-in-law Pat Anderson of Pigeon; grandchildren, Bryan Anderson, Allison (Benjamin) Roundtree, Joseph Riesterer, and Carly Riesterer; brother Albertus of Grand Rapids; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Elizabeth Louise; son Kurt; and brothers, Victor, Russell, and J. Wayne.
Bruce E. Anderson, age 87 of Pigeon, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe. He was born at home in Caseville Township on December 6, 1929, the son of Charles and Lottie (Limberger) Anderson. He graduated from Pigeon High School in 1948. On February 8, 1958 he was united to Gail F. Ricker at Owendale United Methodist Church, and had been married almost 59 years. Bruce was a farmer throughout his lifetime, retiring in 1995. He was a former member of MMPA, the Farm Bureau, and Pigeon Lions Club. Bruce enjoyed bowling and golfing, and absolutely loved watching sports. He was a member of Hayes United Methodist Church.
