Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette on Sunday from 5 - 8 PM, Monday from 1 - 8 PM and on Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Marlette from 10 - 11 AM Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Marlette. Fr. Andrej Boroch will be officiating. Burial will be in the Marlette Cemetery in Marlette. Memorial suggestion to the Marlette Extended Care Facility. She is survived by Mary Jane Yaroch (Daughter) of Saginaw, Robert & Joanne Yaroch (Son) of Marlette, Ronald & Jeanette Yaroch (Son) of Marlette, Grandchildren, Tom and Tricia Yaroch, Katie Yaroch, Douglas Yaroch, Justin Yaroch and Chelsea Yaroch. Karl & Margaret Byarski (Brother) of Kinde, Roman Kozlowski (Brother in law) of Port Austin, June Byarski (Sister in Law) of Bad Axe, Sally Byarski (Sister in Law) of Grand Blanc, Florence Byarski (Sister in Law) of Harbor Beach, Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers, Leonard, Edward, and Sylvester Byarski, and a sister Janice Kozlowski.

Biography

Christine Marie Yaroch, 94, of Marlette, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Marlette Extended Care Facility in Marlette, Michigan. She was born December 17, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Valentine and Florence (Miller) Byarski. Christine married Edwin C. Yaroch on June 30, 1948 in Port Austin. He died on October 13, 1999. They moved to Marlette in 1953 from Bad Axe. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and a past member of the Rosary Society at the church. Christine worked for many years at the Polewach store in Marlette.
