Funeral Information

Funeral mass for Clarence will be Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Clarence will be Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 1-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Friday will begin at the church from 10 am until time of services at 11am. A Parish Vigil Service will take place Thursday at 7 pm at the funeral home.

Clarence is survived by his wife Grace Koss of Harbor Beach, and children: Sharon Horetski of Harbor Beach, and Brian Koss and his wife Crystal of Lexington. 5 grandchildren: Matt (Sarah) Koss, Joe Koss, Stacy Koss, Mike (Kayla) Horetski and Shawn Horetski, 4 great grandchildren: Katie, Daniel, Nathan, and Gavin, and sister Elizabeth Gebutski of Bay City. Clarence was preceded in death by his daughter Sandy Koss, son-in-law Melvin Horetski, and sisters: Rose, Irene, Bertha, Dorothy, and Grace.

Biography

CLARENCE F. KOSS, age 87 of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on October 27, 1927 in Harbor Beach to the late Frank and Theresa (Jock) Koss. Clarence and Grace Palach were united in marriage on August 27, 1949 in Parisville. Clarence was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish. He was an avid Deer and Duck Hunter, Sportsman, enjoyed wood crafting, and loved to spend time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
