Grandchildren: Brian Murdoch, Jessica (Dave) Kowalski, Bo (Deanne) Murdoch, Alissa (Kelly) Edwards, André (Morgan) Schillinger, Steve Henne, Ryan (Kyla) Henne and Jamie (Lisa) Henne. Great-grandchildren: Erin Murdoch, Peyton Edwards, Isabella Edwards, Christopher Bozich, Andrew Bozich, John Bozich, Matthew Murdoch, Baylor Schillinger, Barrett Schillinger, Brayden Henne, and Gracyn Henne. Sisters: Emily Kuhl, Louise Munoz, Sara Birk, and Irene Picklo. She was preceded in death by Cande Casto, Natalie Soliz, Sam Martinez, Frank Martinez, Paul Martinez, Robert Martinez, Olivia Torres, Steven Henne (1977), Erin Schillinger (1988), Joey Henne (2001), and Eli Henne (2015).
Connie “Chelo” Henne, age 74 of Bay Port passed away under hospice care at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. She was born in Owendale on January 4, 1943 and was the daughter of Santo and Consuelo (Garcia) Martinez. She married Richard Henne on February 19, 1972. Connie was a C.N.A. She worked as an attendant for an AFC Home and Allen Home Care. She also taught children of migrant workers, helping those with special needs. She enjoyed participating in Bible studies, and was a board member of Elkton Prayer Fellowship. She loved cooking and organizing for family and church events. Connie was a member at Rivers Edge Church in Caseville, and lived her life with faith in the Lord.
