Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1709 Moeller Rd., Kinde, MI 48445) with Fr. Craig Carolan officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Bad Axe, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the MacAlpine Gage Chapel (110 East Main Street, Kinde, Michigan 48445).  Contributions in Dolores’s honor may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation (30400 Telegraph Road, Suite 150, Bingham Farms, Michigan 48025). She is survived by her husband, Bruce Kretz; two sons, Terry (Carmen) Lerash, Michael (Paula) Lerash and two daughters, Pamela (Ted) Newcomb, and DeLynn Lerash Pfannenstein; Grandchildren: Rachel (Kevin) Udy, Aaron (Angela) Lerash, Derek (Lori) Pfannenstein, Brent Lerash, Chelsea (Paul) Harland, Lance Pfannenstein, Chad Lerash, Cody Lerash, Hannah Turk Lerash, and Grant Newcomb. Dolores has seven great grandchildren; Carter, Parker, Wynn, Callie, Brianna, Noah and Harper. She is also survived by her sister, Genevieve Galka; brothers: Alfred (Margie) Majeski, Kenneth (Pat) Majeski; sisters-in-law: Cathy Majeski, Arvella Majeski, and Gena Majeski; Step sons Matthew and Theodore Kretz; and step daughter Michelle Korting. She was proceeded in death by; brothers, Emil, Eugene, Ralph, Albin and Donald. Parents Felix and Agnes Majeski, former husband Edward Lerash and step son Steven Kretz.
Dolores (Lerash) Kretz, 86 of Manistee, Michigan passed away peacefully with family by her side Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Heritage Hills Memory Care facility in Caro, Michigan. Born Dolores Rose Majeski, December 28, 1933 in Kinde, Michigan; the daughter of Felix and Agnes (Rice) Majeski.  Dolores loved God, Mother Mary, the church and her family. She was an avid gardener; enjoyed her gardens, flowers and the birds. Her passion was playing golf and bridge. She also loved travelling with her husband Bruce and family.  She offered her time as a volunteer at the Manistee Hospital and was an advocate for the National Right to Life organization.
