Funeral Information

Funeral mass for Don will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Don will be Friday from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Saturday will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. A Parish Vigil Service will take place on Friday, at 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the OLLH Church or to the Eastern Huron Ambulance Service.

Don is survived by his wife Arley Mausolf of Harbor Beach, children: Gary Mausolf and his wife Kim of Chandler, AZ, Greg Mausolf and his wife Denise of Troy, Sherry Cook and her husband Calvin of Harbor Beach, and Sue Lange and her husband Duane of Marlette, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother Warren (Jackie) Mausolf of Arizona sisters: Collette Grekowicz of Ubly, Charlotte (Leon) Baker of Port Huron, Elaine (Pete) Scherba of Davison, Jean (Ron) Armstrong of Florida, and Sharon (Jim) Schornack of Rapson, sisters-in-law: Marie Mausolf of Harbor Beach, and Marlene Mausolf of Harbor Beach. Don was preceded in death by his brothers: Orville Mausolf, Marvin Mausolf, and sister Doreen Wruble.

Biography

Donald Mausolf, age 79 of Harbor Beach, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1935 in Harbor Beach to the late Joseph and Mayme (Kramer) Mausolf. Don and Arley Wehner were united in marriage on November 10, 1956 in Harbor Beach. Don was an Account Manager for Coca Cola for 33 years, retiring in 1996. Don was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking and hunting.
