Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Eleanor will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at 2 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Eleanor will be on Friday beginning at 10 am until time of services at 2pm. Memorials can be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Family of the Deceased

Eleanor is survived by her children: Mary Ann Eggert and her husband Robert of Caro, Patricia Siewert of Bay City, four grandchildren: Terry Eggert, Debra McLeod, Greg and Judy Eggert, and Rebecca and Brad Hoffman, 6 great grandchildren: Donald and Tracy McLeod Jr., Anthony McLeod, Jonathan McLeod, Theron Eggert, Cheyanne Hoffman and Jenavieve Hoffman, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony, and siblings: Louis, William, Viola, John Will, Norman Will, Woodrow Will, Emma Winkel, Lucy Long, Melvin Will, Elmer Will, Ruth moeller, and Walter Will.

Biography

She was born on March 4, 1920 in Harbor Beach to the late Henry and Lena (Schnell) Will. Eleanor and Anthony Nickles were united in marriage on October 15, 1938 in Harbor Beach. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2007. Eleanor worked as a clerk at The Dime Store, and then Gambles for many years. She enjoyed playing euchre and cards, sewing, quilting, and going to garage sales. She loved to spend time visiting with friends and family.
