She is survived by one sister-in-law, Eilene (Fiebig) Ward and her husband Glen; four nieces: Diane Warack and her special friend Tim Hartman, Marilyn Spannagel and her husband Mike, Donna Miller and her husband Mark, Debbie Kubacki and her husband Tim; two nephews: Howard Fiebig and his wife Beth, and Earl Fiebig and his wife June; and many great nieces and nephews. Esther was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her parents, and one brother, Norman Fiebig.
She was born January 1, 1918, in Sebewaing, to the late Alfred and Clara (Volz) Fiebig. She worked in Bay City as an elevator operator and then as a clerk until she married Clarence Jacob Wagner July 18, 1950 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Saginaw. Esther loved collie dogs, animals, gardening, reading, and if so inclined, she would take a turn and play a little tune on the piano. When she lived in Bay City, Ether attended Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Essexville, but after she returned home to reside on the farm in Sebewaing, she rejoined Immanuel Lutheran Church, of which she had been confirmed.
