Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, July 6, at Calvary Baptist Church, Caseville. Rev. Michael Goforth, pastor and Rev. James Darfee, will officiate with burial in the Caseville Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the time of services Saturday. Arrangements by the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Elkton. Family of the Deceased

Surviving are nine children, James (Frances) Duprey of Mio, Linda (Richard) Cubbernuss of Mendon, Edward (Bhing) Duprey of Waterford, Ralph (Janette) Duprey of Waterford, Mary Cebulski of Florida, Russell Duprey of White Lake, Frank Duprey of Mio and Karen (William) Hartley of Holly; daughter-in-law, Norma Duprey of Mio; 32 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were four children, Louis, David, Keith and Leona and her brother John Williams.

Biography

Eva R. Duprey, age 92, of Mio formerly of Gotts Corner near Caseville, died peacefully Wednesday evening, July 3, at her home. She was born February 25, 1921 in Cass City to the late James and Rowena (Thorndale) Williams. She was united in marriage to Louis Duprey, August 25, 19 37 in Unionville. They lived in the Gotts Corner/Caseville area most of their married life, raising their family there. Louis preceded her in death December 27, 1971. In 1985 she moved to Arizona where she became a member of the Gateway Baptist Church. Then on July 1, 1998, she moved back to Michigan, living in Mio near some of her children. Eva was a member of Luzerne Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
