A memorial service will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11am at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Interment will be in Colfax Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home on Friday November 23, 2012 from 10am until the service time at 11am.

Jayne Stahl of Bad Axe, MI. 2 brothers in law; Tom (Sue) Stahl of Bad Axe, MI. Jim (Linda) Stahl of Bad Axe, MI. Several nieces and nephews.

Biography

Forrest Freeman, age 64 of Easton, PA., formerly of Bad Axe, passed away on Monday, October 29th,2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 1, 1947 in Saginaw, MI. Son of the late Jack E. and Alice (Rohn) Freeman. He and his wife, the former Margaret (Peg) Stahl celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on October 17,2012. Forrest retired as a project manager for Alcan Packaging, where he worked for 34 years. He received a B.S. Degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Tech University. Forrest served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers stationed in Heidelberg, Germany during the Vietnam War. He could be seen fishing from the Great Lakes of Michigan to the streams of Pennsylvania. He was a member of Arndt's Lutheran Church and of Trout Unlimited Forks of the Delaware Chapter. He was a volunteer for Bushkill Creek water shed monitoring project.
