Funeral Information

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00am at St Anthony’s Church of Holy Name of Mary Parish, Helena, Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will take place at St Anthony’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Ramsey Funeral Home in Harbor Beach from 1-9pm on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. A joint Rosary by the Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Society will take place at 4pm on Tuesday with a Parish Vigil Service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the charities of your choice, or Courtney Manor and the Jesuit Missionaries.

Frances is survived by her eight children; Rosalee Clor and her fiancé Jim Belk of Clinton Township, Joseph Mausolf and his wife June of Filion, Katherine Tenbusch and her husband John of Minden City, Marilyn Klee and her husband Don of Bad Axe, James Mausolf and his wife Linda of Harbor Beach, John Mausolf and his fiancé Elizabeth Mendoza of Harbor Beach, Margaret Callender and her husband Tom of Ruth, and Jerry Mausolf and his wife Bonnie of St. Clair Shores. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; Kent (Sandy) Clor, Darren (Jennine) Clor, Michele Mausolf, Michael (Leah) Mausolf, Kim (Eric) Howes, Donald (Valerie) Sampson, Holly (Tom) Mills, Russell (Jennifer) Sampson, Tony (Jill) Sampson, Lisa (Michael) Geiger, Lori (Brian) Lewis, John (Amy) Tenbusch, Daniel (Hillary) Tenbusch, Steven (Darcy) Tenbusch, Matthew (Trisha) Tenbusch, Jared (Jessica) Tenbusch, Kristin (Kenny) Emming, Keri (fiancé Trevor Smalley) Tenbusch, Connie (Michael) Meissner, Jenny (Dale) Emming, Douglas (Rebecca Smith) Klee, Beth (Dan) Gonzales, David (Jessica) Mausolf, Angie Mausolf, Sara Mausolf, James (Christy) Callender, Timothy (Bridget) Callender, Kayla Mausolf, Eric Mausolf, and Aaron Mausolf. She is survived by 42 great-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one great-great-grandson, and many, many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Mausolf, son-in-law Ron Clor, daughter-in-law Juli Mausolf, her siblings Josephine (Roy) Peterson, Brother Joseph LaMielle S.J., Mary (Herbert) Siemen, Bernice (Clarence) Meissner and Vincent LaMielle. She is also preceded by her in-laws Ervin (Leolla) Mausolf, Harold Mausolf and Gladys (Benny) Coaster.

Biography

Frances Rita (LaMielle) Mausolf, 90, of Harbor Beach, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by family on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Courtney Manor where she resided for the past six years. Frances was born March 3, 1924 to the late Peter and Rose (Schulte) LaMielle. She married Earl J. Mausolf on September 2, 1944 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2006. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Helena where she was a lector, Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Altar Society. Frances was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Farm Bureau. She farmed with her husband and enjoyed playing the organ, crocheting, knitting, sewing, quilting, playing euchre, bowling, traveling and gardening. She was especially proud of her flower gardens.
