Services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11am. at Sacred Heart Church - St Hubert Parish in Bad Axe. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Thursday from 1-8 pm. or Friday at the church from 10am. until the service time at 11 am.

Surviving are 4 sons; Joseph Duggan and special friend Megan Defroy of Dearborn, Matthew Duggan and finance Kaitlin Fox of Grand Blanc, Luke Duggan of Filion and Jai Duggan of Filion. His mother; Dorothy Duggan of Port Austin. 3 brothers; Dennis (Maureen) Duggan of Port Austin, William "Snapper" Duggan of Port Austin, Thomas (Ellen) Duggan of New Baltimore. 1 grand daughter; Trichelle Duggan of Saginaw. He is predeceased by his father Walter Duggan and a sister, Diana Hollister.

Biography

Frederick Duggan, age 55, lifelong Huron County resident, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 19, 1958 in Bad Axe, the son of Walter and Dorothy (Roberts) Duggan. He married Sandra Jaworski on October 17, 1981 in Bad Axe. Fred enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, working with muscle cars and involving himself in local politics. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, served on the Bad Axe Board of Education, and was a past-president of the Bad Axe Minor League and T-Ball Association. Fred was the manager of Duggan's Family Campground of Port Austin.
