Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Glen will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 1pm at the Ramsey Fueneral Home of Harbor Beach, with Rev. Jay Barsaleau officiating. Burial will follow on Thursday in Oakland Hills Cemetery of Novi. Visitation for Glen will be Wednesday from 10 am until time of services at 1pm at the funeral home.

Family of the Deceased

Glen is survived by his wife Anita Silvernail of Harbor Beach, and children: Randy Silvernail and his wife Debbie of Livonia, Laurie Lang and her husband Steven of Harbor Beach, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Brothers Clifton Silvernail of Bay City, and Pete Silvernail of Wisconsin, and sister Nina Doyle of Livonia. He was preceded in death by 2 children: Connie Silvernail and Glen A. Silvernail, and brother Everett Silvernail.

Biography

GLEN C. SILVERNAIL, age 85, of Harbor Beach, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at Huron Medical Center of Bad Axe. He was born on February 17, 1928 in Kingston to the late Glen and Pearl (Curry) Silvernail. Glen and Anita Swart were united in marriage on Feburary 17, 1949 in Detroit. Glen served in the Michigan National Guard, and was Bus Supervisor for Clarenceville Schools in Livonia, for 32 years, retiring in 1986. Glen was a member of Grace Bible Church of Harbor Beach, and enjoyed tractors and working with wood and chainsaws. Glen was also the King of the Franklin Inn Ball.
