Funeral services for Jack Schubach, will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, July 28, at the Hayes United Methodist Church, Caseville, MI. Rev Matthew Chapman. Pastor will officiate with burial in Caseville Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton, MI from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday and at the church after 10:00 AM Thursday. Memorial gifts may be given to Relay for Life and words of condolence may be shared at www.cfcelkton.com.

Surviving are his wife, Deena; children, Angie (Chris) Heussner of Marlette,MI; Chad (Misty) Schubach of Elkton,MI; Tami (Scott) Bradley of Sandusky,MI; Lisa (Wayne French) Detkowski of Snover, Lori Neuman of Bad Axe, MI; and Brianna Davis of Riverview, FL; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Anna Marie Krohn of Elkton,MI; Selma (Bob) Thiel of Pigeon,MI; Carolyn Champagne of Bad Axe and Ila Waller of Clinton Twp. Preceding him in death was a great granddaughter, Lauren Martin; his sister, Eunice Leitch; nephew, Gary “Judge” Leitch and brothers-in-law, Don Krohn, Oliver Leitch and Cal Waller.

Biography

Jack S. Schubach age 66 of Sand Point, MI died Monday, July 25, at Scheurer Hospital following a long bout with health problems. He was born April 13, 1950, in Pigeon, MI to the late Stanley and Florence (Fritz) Schubach. Jack grew up on the family farm north of Pigeon. After high school, Lakers, Class of 68, Jack worked on the family farm and eventually took over the operation from his father. He recently married Deena Rohl and made their home in Florida for the winter and here in the summers. Jack was fascinated with old cars and enjoyed working on them as well as building and inventing things to make life easier on the farm. A few years back, he built and flew Ultra-light airplanes for a hobby. He was a member of the Caseville (MI) Eagles and the Caro (MI) Moose Lodge.
