Jacob is survived by his parents, Larry and Connie Respondek of Bad Axe. Maternal Grandfather – Clifford Willett of Bad Axe. Son – Tyde Respondek of St. Petersburg, FL. Brother – Ryan (JoLynn) Respondek of Bad Axe. Niece – Meredith Respondek of Bad Axe. Nephew – Ryan Respondek of Bad Axe.

Biography

Jacob Respondek, age 43, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Bad Axe, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. Jacob was born on February 3, 1975 in Bad Axe, son of Lawrence and Constance (Willett) Respondek. Jacob very much enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid surfer. He was a member of a Surf Rider environmental watchdog group. He enjoyed camping, hiking, biking, beach clean-ups, anything out of doors. He loved being a father to his son Tyde, spending time with him and teaching all of the things Tyde also loved doing with his dad.
