Funeral Information

Funeral Mass will be Saturday July 6, 2013 at 10am at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church (St. Michael’s) Catholic Church in Port Austin. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. There will be visitation on Friday from 2-9pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde and on Saturday from 9-10am at the church.

John is survived by his wife, Alberta Jimkoski of Pinnebog; four children, Sheila Homrich of Pinnebog, Michael Jimkoski of Pinnebog, Matthew (Heather) Jimkoski of Freeland, and Melanie (Dan) Maurer of Pinnebog; ten grandchildren, Jacob and Adam Homrich, Cole, Claire, and Carly Jimkoski, Emily, Megan, and Devin Maurer, and Nathan and Carter Jimkoski. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Carey Sherman. He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Jimkoski; two brothers, Alger Jimkoski and Ken Jimkoski; and his sister, Rita Jaworski

Biography

John D. Jimkoski, 67, of Pinnebog, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Courtney Manner in Bad Axe. He was born on March 29, 1946 in Hume Township, son of the late Raymond and Martha (Andreski) Jimkoski. He married Alberta St. George on October 30, 1965 at St. Felix Catholic Church in Pinnebog. John was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin. He was a lifelong dairy farmer in Pinnebog. John thoroughly enjoyed each and every spent on the farm and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
