It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, June Marie Byarski, who passed away on January 16, 2022 at Rivergate Terrace in Riverview, MI after a brief illness. June was born on June 21, 1925, in Lincoln Township, daughter of the late Joshua and Llwella (Randall) Eden. She married the love of her life, Leonard Val Byarski on July 6, 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dwight, in Kinde, MI by Rev. H.S. Padsiad after Leonard returned from the South Pacific, where he served in the U.S. Army during WWII. They worked together to create their own business, Byarski and Sons Egg Company, of which they ran until Leonard retired. They enjoyed spending their time with their family and friends. June loved spending hours crocheting and bird watching. June was a long time member of St. Hubert’s Parish in Bad Axe, MI. She also enjoyed gardening and would spend hours canning and freezing vegetables and fruits. Before her most recent illness, she resided at Meadow Lanes Assisted Living, where she remained very active. She had a special relationship with her tiny Chihuahua, Chicky, which she received from the Sanilac County Animal Shelter. Chicky passed away four hours before June. They had a very special bond.
