Visitation for Ken will be Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde from 2 to 8:00 pm and at St. Michael’s Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dwight Township.

Family of the Deceased

Ken was preceded in death by two wives, Cynthia (Inda) bolda and Donna (Kazyaka) Bolda-Russell. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Barbara Bolda, his children: Vickie (Todd) Harbowy of Southgate, Mi, Anthony Bolda of Madison Hghts, Kenneth (Amy) Bolda of Farmington, Jeff (Krista) Gugnacki of Warren and Melissa Domanski of Madison Heights; his grandchildren Anthony, Jacob, Megan, Joshua, Evan, Rachel, Megan, Julia and Emily, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother, Charles (Joanne) Bolda of Mio, his sister, Marie (Clarence) Polega of Bay City, and was preceded in death by a brother, Alan.

Biography

Kenneth A. Bolda, 78, of Port Austin died Wednesday, January 11, 2017at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born March 24, 1938 son of the late Anthony and Margaret (Moore) Bolda. Ken worked as a Tool and Die maker for Chrysler Motor Company for 33 years. He was an avid hunter and woodworker. He enjoyed playing golf, reading and having his morning coffee with the guys in town.
