Visitation will be at the from 10:30 until the time of service at St. Hubert’s. Funeral Arrangements are being handled through the Knoblock Funeral Home, Kinde, MI.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children; Kenneth L. Ford of Port Austin, and Karen L. (David) Goyke of Harrison Township; and three grandsons, Nikolas, Jonah, and Joshua Goyke. Also surviving are his brothers; Dennis Ford, Gerald (Cecelia) Ford, Larry (Penny) Ford, Harold (Dorothy) Ford and his sisters; Michelle (Michael)Wojkiewicz and Sandra (John) Glisman.

Biography

Kenneth Peter Ford, 70, of Port Austin died Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was born July 22, 1941 in Detroit, son of the late Kenneth H. and Viola L. (Grates) Ford. He and Charlotte (Sowinski) Ford were married at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Warren on July 14, 1967. Ken was a graduate of Lawrence Institute of Technology in 1968 with a BS in Industrial Management. He worked for GM in Warren for 28 years and Progressive Tool in Southfield for 5 years. He moved to Port Austin with his wife in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children; Kenneth L. Ford of Port Austin, and Karen L. (David) Goyke of Harrison Township; and three grandsons, Nikolas, Jonah, and Joshua Goyke.
