Ken is survived by his wife Billie Jo Harper, children: Kathy (Scott) Stephens, Laurie (Rick) DePanicis, Kenneth D. (Sandy) Harper Jr., Patti (Mark) Hatfield, Jamie (Rodonna) Harper, Jennifer (Jeremy) Bryant, Step children: Michael (Angela) Mathes, Christopher McBroom, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Marge (Herb) Boren, and Merle Willis. He was preceded in death by a brother James Robert Harper.

Biography

Kenneth Harper, age 83 of Port Hope, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron. He was born on June 25, 1933 in Pilot Oak, Kentucky, to the late Whitman and Moty Sue Harper. He and Billie Jo Hoskins were united in marriage n June 22, 1984 in Avon Lake, Ohio. Ken worked in the automotive industry, he enjoyed his work, and was a member of the Local Union Sheet Metal Workers 292. He enjoyed his retirement the past 15 years, and enjoyed being in the outdoors: going on bike rides, hiking, camping, he was always staying busy. He attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, and was very active in many churches over the years.
