Funeral Information

Per Ken’s wishes Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank A&D Hospice for the wonderful care, Dr. Gregory Brown with Dialysis Associates, Saginaw for always going above and beyond, Blaine Bucholtz for fulfilling Kens last request and the numerous friends who made Kens life interesting and worth living.

Family of the Deceased

He is survived by his loving wife Karen. A son Kyle (Mariah Klee) Horn, Caseville, his Stepchildren: Michael (Kari Nolan) Woolford, Kinde, Staff Sergeant Matthew (Kayla) Woolford, Oceanside, Ca, Sergeant Megan Woolford, Jacksonville, NC. Ken was the very proud grandpa to Kevin, Derick, Eathan, Hayden, Linden, Jensen, Raelynn, Paisley, Arianna, Matthew Jr., and Avery. One great grandson Landon. These children were the light of his life. He is also survived by his siblings Brenda (John) Koroleski, Port Austin and Michael Horn (special friend Melissa Galarno) Port Austin: Father and mother in-law Michael and Patricia Rizer, Bad Axe, sister-in-law Laurie (Devlyn Kuehl) Brush Flint, brother-in-law David (Jackie Pittman) Rizer, Greenville, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Burton Horn, mother and stepfather Kathleen and Thomas Baranski, a sister Cheryl Roberts and a brother-in-law Douglas Brush.

Biography

Kenneth B Horn 51 of Port Austin passed away Friday April 3, 2020 at home under Hospice Care with his family at his side after an extended illness. Kenneth was born April 30, 1968 in Bad Axe, the son of Burton L .and Kathleen (Borrett) Horn. Ken and Karen Rizer married on April 11, 2014. He attended North Huron School. He was an avid Truck Driver and was last employed with Bucholtz Trucking, Pigeon.
