Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in memory of Ken on Saturday, April 14th at 11 am at St. Isadore Parish – St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville with Fr. Todd Arnberg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Friday from 1 – 8 pm or Saturday at the church from 10 am until the service time of 11 am. A St. Isadore Men’s Club rosary service will be offered at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7 pm. If you wish to offer your condolences to the family please go to www.kaufmanfuneralhome.com.

In addition to his wife Mary Ann, Kenneth is survived by his three sons - Roger (Teresa) Wrubel of Caseville, Gary Wrubel of Essexville, and Jim (Lori) Wrubel of Troy, brother – Myron (Glenda) Wrubel of Lake City, FL, sisters -Elaine (Ben) Sawielski of Metamora, Marlene (Bernard) Gentner of Ruth, Marilyn Wendt of Harbor Beach and Joan (Jim) Heilig of Almont. He also has four Grandchildren – Nicole Wrubel of Essexville, Ashley Wrubel of Lansing, Stephanie Campbell of Grand Rapids, Cecelia Campbell of Lansing. Kenneth was preceded in death by his son Marvin Wrubel, brother Melvin Wrubel and sister Judy Truetle.

Biography

Kenneth Wrubel, age 79, of Minden City, passed away on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. He was born on January 10, 1939 in Huron County, son of the late Henry and Gertrude (Puvalowski) Wrubel. Kenneth will be forever remembered by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Lemanski. A passionate farmer, Ken also worked at McNally Nimergood as a heavy equipment operator/hauler. In 1981 he retired to devote full time his passion of farming. He attended St. Marys church of Parisville and was a member of the Men’s usher club. He also loved polka music.
