Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Lana will be Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Rev. Jay Barsaleau officiating. Cremation will follow with internment to be at Delaware Township Cemetery. Visitation for Lana will be Sunday beginning at 12 noon until time of services at 3 pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be given to the Family Discretionary Fund. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Lana is survived by her husband Larry Riedel of Harbor Beach, daughters: Helen Bernetta of Ubly, and Delia Elizabeth McNeil and her husband Gary of Marlette, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and siblings: Jim Reid of Cocoa Beach, FL, John Reid of Cocoa Beach, FL, Joe Reid of Stockbridge, and Peggy Baxter of Chelsea. She was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Katherine Riedel, and a brother Henry J. Reid.

Biography

LANA M. RIEDEL, age 66 of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at her home under hospice care, with her family by her side. She was born on December 12, 1947 in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late Jim and Margaret (Squires) Reid. Lana and Larry Riedel were united in marriage on July 12, 1969 in St. John Catholic Church in Forestville. Lana enjoyed doing her embroidery and crafts and selling them at Farmers Markets in the area. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
