Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Lawrence will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11 am at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, MI with Pastor Dan Schinabarger officiating. Burial will follow in the Marquardt Cemetery. Visitation for Lawrence will be on Monday, from 3-8 pm at the funeral home, and again on Tuesday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am. Military Honors will be given in Lawrence honor. Memorials can be given to the Free Methodist Church, Compassus Hospice, or family wishes. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Lawrence is survived by his wife Rose Robinson of Harbor Beach, and children: Cheryl (Jim) Wood of Saginaw, MI ; Vicky (Mike) Erdman of Minden City, MI; Lorne (Shelley) Robinson of New Hudson, MI; grandchildren: Joel (Alicia) Wood, Jodi Wood, Matt (Caitlin) Erdman, Melissa Erdman, Alicia (Derek) Burkhard, Jessica Robinson, Samantha (Trevor) Moore, great grandson Hudson Wood, and his siblings: Harold (Florence) Robinson of Florida, Doug Robinson of Minnesota, Lee (Betty) Robinson of Fife Lake, and Dean (Sharon) Robinson of Harbor Beach. Lawrence was preceded in death by his son in 1981, Rob Robinson, and his siblings: Frank Robinson, Nancy Mularz, and Janet Mercer.

Biography

Lawrence E. Robinson, age 84 of Harbor Beach, MI passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home under hospice care, with his family by his side. He was born on on October 9, 1933 in Harbor Beach to the late Harold and Carrie (Arntz) Robinson. Lawrence served in the US Army. On January 12, 1957, he and Rose Uhl were united in marriage. Lawrence was a retired employee for GTE. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Lawrence enjoyed riding his motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, going up north to his cottage, enjoying a cup of coffee with friends and family, and being with his grandchildren.
