Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am, Thursday February 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle. Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Ignatius Cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Wednesday from 2-9 pm and Thursday from 10-11 am at the church only. Lyle is survived by his wife of 57 years, Yvonne of Roscommon, his three children, Brad Scott and his wife, Melissa of Waterford, Cheryl Scott-Manetta of Fairgrove, Greg Scott and his wife, Lisa of Westland; 7 grandchildren, Shelby, Kaily, Randall, Rebecca, Jeff, Tim, James; special furry friend, Toby; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Mervin, Kenneth and Carl; one sister, Leola.
Lyle D. Scott, 84 of Roscommon, formerly of Westland and Deckerville passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Grayling. He was born on March 24, 1928 in Deckerville to the late William L. and Anna Lucretia (Livingway) Scott. He married Yvonne E. Morell on May 14, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle. Lyle was a graduate of the Deckerville High School. He hauled cars for Commercial Carriers for 40 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union for 40 years. He truly enjoyed being retired for the last 25 years.
