She is survived by her sons Doug (Gay) of Sand Point, Tom (Terri) of Owosso, Mike (Kathy) of Grand Blanc and Dean (Samantha) of Bay Port; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters Grace Randall of Illinois and Maxine Gaber of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Riemenschneider.
Marion L. Henne, 91, of Pigeon died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon. Marion was born July 31, 1927 in Sebewaing to the late Robert and Bernice (Zoller) Brechtel. She graduated as the valedictorian of Sebewaing High School in 1945. She married G. Wayne Henne June 23, 1945 at Trinity Evangelical Church in Sebewaing; he preceded her in death November 14, 2011. Marion attended St. Clair County Community College and became an MLPN. She worked as a nurse at Huron Medical Center retiring in 1988. She lived on the family farm in McKinley Twp after getting married until retiring and moving to Pigeon. She was a church organist, playing at Hayes United Methodist Church and her own church, Pigeon First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and music.
