Martha is survived by her children, Joan (William) Trim, Grand Rapids, MI., Gary (Patricia) Krug, Punta Gorda, Fl And Bad Axe, MI, Cathy (Paul) Lerash, Kenneth (Beth) Krug, Raymond (Clara) Krug all of Bad Axe, MI., and Howard (Susan) Krug of Rochester, NY; three sisters, Florence (Frank)Mattice of Dearborn, Sophie Soule of Clinton Twp., and Louise Gibson of Ubly, MI; one brother-in-law, Dick Krug of Ubly, MI; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Gale and Cal Worrell; son, Kevin Krug; grandson, Aaron Krug; daughter-in-law, Janis Krug; sister, brothers and their spouses, Gurt and Stan Glaza, Ann and Ira Leppek, Stanley and Gladys Broilat, Irene and Louis Osentoski, Clem and Fran Broilat, Kenneth Soule, Sam Cottick, Ray Gibson, Ervin and Joann Broilat.

Biography

Martha Catherine Krug, age 91, passed away peacefully under hospice care at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe, Michigan. Martha was born in Ubly, MI to the late Roman and Lena (Pollum) Broilat. Martha married Vern Krug on April 3, 1948. He passed away on December 17,1977. Vern and Martha ran the family farm at his home place on Bad Axe Rd. until his death. Martha moved to Tennessee to minister to the sick and elderly. She also traveled to many places to bring God’s word through encouragement and love. She also traveled to NYC after 9-11 helping many people. She also loved reading her Bible. The family of Martha cannot give enough thanks to all the employees of Huron County Medical Care Facility for the compassion and love they showered on their mother during her stay there.
