Funeral Mass for Marty will be Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Marty will be on Sunday, from 2-8 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Monday will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. A Knights of Columbus Rosary will take place Sunday, at 6:30 pm, followed by a Parish Vigil Service at 7pm in the funeral home. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com
He is survived by his wife Deborah Oglenski of Harbor Beach, children: Jennifer (Jobe) Capling of Harbor Beach, Christine (Nick) Roggenbuck of Harbor Beach, Nichole (Paul) Schulte of Mooresville, North Carolina, Rachel (Douglas) Morgan of Harbor Beach, John (Whitney) Oglenski of Kinde, Dan Oglenski of Harbor Beach, 11 grandchildren: Airyn Arntz, Brynlee, Colton Roggenbuck, Aubrey, Chase, Hayden Schulte, Nora, Elise, Quinn Capling, Deborah, Natalie Morgan, his brother Stephen (Deborah) Oglenski of Grand Blanc, his mother & father-in-law: Gladys & Kenneth Mosey, Brothers and sisters-in-law: Steven Mosey, Michael (Barb) Mosey, Jeffrey (Tammy) Mosey, Deanna (Henry) Mosey, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Oglenski, and a niece Erin Modrzynski.
Martin L. Oglenski, age 67 of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Plymouth, Michigan. He was born on June 24, 1955 in Detroit to the late John and Anne (Nowakowski) Oglenski. He and Deborah Mosey were united in marriage on May 31, 1975, at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. He graduated from Ferris State University with his automotive mechanic degree. Marty owned and operated Harbor Beach Sunoco/Marty's Auto Care for 41 years, 39 years with his dear late friend Dave Guitar, before retiring in March of 2021. Marty was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 11432, the Huron Aviation Club, the Harbor Beach Conservation Club, and the Harbor Beach Gun Club. Marty was a pilot and loved to participate in the Dawn patrol and the candy drop every year. He enjoyed Monday Night bowling, snowmobiling, bear hunting, deer hunting, and coffee at his morning Bible Club.
