Funeral Information

Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11 am at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home on Friday from 1-8 pm or Saturday from 10 am until the service time at 11 am.

Survived by: 1 daughter-Peggy Lloyd and her husband Lawrence Jock of Port Hope 1 sister- Joann (Herb) Roggenbuck of Bad Axe. 4 brothers-Jack (Betty) Kiehl of Caro Dan (Marie) Kiehl of Bad Axe, Ed Kiehl of Bad Axe and Rick (Joyce) Kiehl of Bad Axe 2-sister-in-laws Jean Kiehl of Bad Axe and Sharon Kiehl of Bay City. 4 grandchildren-Michael Lloyd of Port Hope, Nicole (Mike) Pierson of Minden City, Amanda (Rob) Warchuck of Ruth and Cameron Lloyd of Port Hope. 6 great grandchildren-Jazmyn Warchuck of Ruth, Trinity Pierson of Minden City, Samantha Warchuck of Ruth, Dalton Pierson of Minden City, Owen Warchuck of Ruth, and Anastasia Warchuck of Ruth. Predeceased by: 2 brothers-Robert Kiehl and William Kiehl. 1 sister-in-law Mary Kiehl.

Biography

Mary Sageman, age 76 of Sigel Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at her home. She was born on January 7, 1937 in Sigel Township, daughter of the late John and Alma (Kirsch) Kiehl. She married Joseph C. Sageman on January 10, 1959 in the Bad Axe First Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1997. Mary was retired from General Cable in Cass City where she worked for 38 years.
