Biography

Michael D. Graf, 68 of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Mike was born March 26, 1952 in Pigeon to the late Jacob and Betty (Omich) Graf. He grew up in “the Quarry” area near Bay Port, and graduated in 1971 from Laker High School. He worked for the Huron County Road Commission before working for many years and retiring from the Village of Pigeon DPW. On Dec. 8, 1990 Mike’s son Cody Michael Graf was born. Mike was a proud and loving Dad, and Cody was the light of his life. Cody preceded him in death June 12, 1999. We know that being with Cody again would truly make Mike’s heart happy. Mike was always quick with a joke and a smile. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the outdoors. He spent many hours of his life hunting, fishing, “on the island”, or just spending time with his brother and a close group of lifelong friends. Mike made friends wherever he went and will be missed by so many. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Betty, his son Cody, and his brother-in-law Larry Pitcher.
