Mike is survived by his children: Janet Newham of Bloomingdale, IL, Robert Hall of Chicago, IL, Polly Hall of Belfast, ME, Timothy (Michelle) Hall of New Lenox, IL; grandchildren: Shelley (Jim) Newham Shreeves, Liam Hall, Kyleen Hall, Nolan Hall; great granddaughter, Caitlyn Newham and by one sister, Reta Hall of Northville. He was preceded in death by his children Margery and Mark and by six brothers and two sisters.

Biography

Michael G. Hall, 80, of Ubly, died suddenly Friday, December 7, 2012. He was born May 8, 1932 in Ubly to James and Helen (Wrubel) Hall. Mike was the owner of Roads End Sales in Ubly where he specialized in sales and repair of construction air tools. Mike was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Japan and Korea in the 1950's, where he was decorated with the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Elks Club of Decatur, IN. Mike was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was a people person and a social guy and found great enjoyment in getting to know people. Mike took great pride in being able to spend his retirement years at the family farm, which has been in the Hall family for over a century. Most importantly, Mike enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.
