She is survived by three children, Kevin (Kristie) Dorsch of Gagetown, Stephanie (Adam) Kubacki of Ubly, and Stacie Dorsch of Gagetown; five grandchildren, Makayla Reed, Kelsey Badger, Hunter Badger, Max Kubacki, and Taylor Kubacki; brother Gary Hoagg of Sebewaing; sisters, Janice (Tom) Sting of Sebewaing and Karen (Floyd) Winchell of Sebewaing; her mother, Virginia Hoagg of Sebewaing; mother-in-law Eloise Dorsch of Caro; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and a brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father Donald; father-in-law Howard Dorsch; and sister-in-law Carol Welther.

Biography

Nancy Dawn Dorsch, age 56 of Gagetown, passed away early Thursday, January 19, 2017. Born in Bay City on August 11, 1960, she was the daughter of Donald and Virginia (Loeffler) Hoagg, and graduated in 1979 from USA High School. On April 26, 1980 she was united in marriage with Charles K. Dorsch at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2015. Nancy was a homemaker who dearly loved her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She never missed watching her daughters play softball during the summer league games. She enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds and having porch parties. Nancy was a crafter, and also enjoyed working puzzles and coloring. She enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting family meals. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City.
