Nancy is survived by: Children-Debra (Roger) Talaski of Bad Axe, Phyllis (Robert) Baxter of Bad Axe, Pennie (Russel) Rienas of Deford, Richard Grady of Bad Axe, Ronald Grady of Bad Axe and Theresa Chapman of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Brother-Bob (Marvel) Alexander. Sisters-in-law-Nina Alexander, JoAnn Alexander, Edna Alexander. Brother-in-law-Joe Todaro. Grandchildren-Doug Talaski, Melissa Forbing, Daniel Baxter, Nicole Lay, Russell Rienas, David Rienas, Shawn Rienas, James Rienas, Christopher Rienas, Alice Grady, Joshua Pitman, Jessica Mullins. 23 Great-grandchildren. 5 Great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Nancy’s pet horse “Red”. Nancy was preceded in death by: Son-Rodney Grady. Brothers-Willard, Frank, J.D., and Jack Alexander. Nancy L. Grady, age 78, of Bad Axe, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home. Nancy was born on July 26, 1938 in Grant Township, daughter of the late Nicholas and Alice (Kretzschmer) Alexander. She married Charles Grady on October 22, 1954. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2004 Nancy was a graduate of Cass City High School and Saint Clair County Community College where she became a nurse. She worked for Huron Memorial Hospital as a nurse for 25 years. She was a member of the NRA as well as a life member of the Michigan Harness Horseman Association. Nancy enjoyed spending her winters in Hawkinsville, Georgia where she and Charles trained horses for many years. Her summers were spent here in Bad Axe and at her lake house in Port Hope. She so enjoyed traveling around the state to go to area fairs to watch the horse races. She love to go to the “Little Brown Jug” in Ohio. She loved having family around and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
