Funeral service for Nancy will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde with Fr. Joseph Shabel officiating. Catholic burial will take place at St. Felix Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the MacAlpine Gage Chapel in Kinde and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Memorials may be offered to the family discretionary fund.

Nancy is survived by her father, Leonard (Beverly) Souva of Caseville; her mother, Rita Souva of Warren; her children: Jillicia Wagner of Bay City, Jake Bambach of Bad Axe, Ryan Bambach of Port Austin and Anthony Bambach of Port Austin; her grandchildren: Lucas, Meya, and Morgan Bambach. She is also survived by her step-sisters, Kimberly Kretzschmar of Bad Axe, and Krista (Tomas) Kuhl of Bay Port; her sister-in-law, Jenny Souva of Mouth Pleasant; and her nieces and nephews: Ashley, Alex, Alyssa, Josh, William, Gunner, Andy, Brandon, Korey, Jason and Ashley. Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald L. Souva.

Biography

Nancy V. Souva-Bambach, 49, of Port Austin, passed away on June 17, 2018. She was born in Pigeon, Michigan on May 27, 1969 to Leonard Souva and Rita Ruth-Bacik. Nancy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe until she became ill. To Nancy, family was everything to her. She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. Nancy also enjoyed reading, loved animals and rescued birds.
