Visitation will be Sunday, November 16th 2-8 pm at MacAlpine – Gage Chapel in Kinde and from 2-3 pm on Monday, November 17th at St. Michael’s Church in Port Austin. He is survived by his nieces Rosalie (Gary) Bitterling of Ubly, Linda (Mark) Gembarski of Port Austin and Valerie (Jim) Schramski of Bad Axe; and one nephew Michael Leavine of Port Austin.
Philip Leavine, 88 of Dwight Township, passed away at his home Thursday, November 13, 2014. He was born in Lincoln Township on July 21, 1926 to the late Lewis and Gertrude (Andreski)) Leavine. Philip was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin. He farmed and raised cattle and enjoyed gardening.
