A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 26th, 2013 at 11am. at St. Hubert Catholic Church- Sacred Heart Parish in Bad Axe. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Sunday from 1-8pm. Or Monday at the church from 10 A.M. until the service time at 11 A.M. A scripture service will be offered on Sunday at 7 pm. at the funeral home.

Survived by: 3 daughters- Karen (Mike) Burkhard of Bad Axe, Sandra Jaworski and special friend Nick Swiastyn of Filion, and Renee (Steven) Kretz of Saginaw. 2 sons- David (Debbie) Jaworski of Bad Axe and Mike (Debbie) Jaworski of Dryden. 1 brother- Edward (Janice) Carson of Bad Axe. 12 Grandchildren- Kelly (Ryan) Errer of Bad Axe, Chad Jaworski of Caseville, Adam Jaworski of Saginaw, Tami Burkhard of Grand Rapids, Eric Burkhard of Bad Axe, Alec Jaworski of Rochester Hills, Steven Jaworski of Lapeer, Joesph Duggan of Clinton Township, Mathew Duggan of Grad Blanc, Luke Duggan of Filion, Jai Duggan of Filion, and Alyssa Kretz of Saginaw. 3 Great Grandchildren- Trichelle Duggan of Saginaw, Madeline Jaworski of Port Huron, and Leah Jaworski of Port Huron. Predeceased by: 2 brothers- Willis Carson and Merle “Butch” Carson, as well as 1 grandson- Brian Burkhard


Phyllis Mae Jaworski, age 78, of Bad Axe, passed away on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 19th, 1935 in Detroit, daughter of the late Walter and Freida (Klinefelt) Carson. Phyllis worker as a nursing assistant at the Huron County Health Department, the Huron County Medical Care Facility, for Home Health Care, and at Home Sweet Home in Pigeon. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and she enjoyed gardening, cleaning house, and collecting clocks and spoons.
