The funeral service will be at 11:00am Saturday, September 16th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville with Rev. Chris Suggitt officiating. Burial will be in Grant Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 2- 8 Friday at 7436 Paul Street, Pigeon. There will also be visitation beginning at 10:00am Saturday at church until time of service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Champagne Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church-Special Project Fund. Ron is survived by his children Jason (Patti) Reinhardt, Tiffany Reinhardt and Marc (Jodi) Reinhardt; grandchildren McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Sara, Adam, Macy and Stella Reinhardt; sister Pam Dinsmoore; sister-in-law Pat (Tony) Enderle; and several nieces and nephews. Ron will also be missed by dear friends Alana Foster, Robert Kern and beloved Aunt Eleanor (Kain) Giardina. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother-in-law Bill Dinsmoore.
Ronald A. Reinhardt, 74, of Owendale, died September 13, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Ron was born February 27, 1943 to the late August and Evelyn (Elbers) Reinhardt of Reese. He graduated from Reese High School in 1961. Ron attended Michigan State University where he received his teaching degree. On September 26, 1964 Ron married Judith Errer of Owendale at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Linkville; Judith preceded him in death on May 19, 2003. Ron taught science at Caseville and Bad Axe Schools and farmed. He was on the Owendale-Gagetown School Board of Education. He was an active member and served in various roles at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Linkville. Ron also enjoyed duck hunting, gardening, history and all things Spartan. He found great joy and pride in watching his 6 grandchildren grow up and flourish in their shared love of sports, farming and hunting. Ron will be most remembered by his beautiful voice raised in song in church and at home.
