Memorial services will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 22, 2014 at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Visitation is on Friday, November 21st from 2 – 8 pm and Saturday, November 22nd from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be offered to the National Diabetes Association. Rusty is survived by a son William of Bad Axe; his mother Sharon Kiehl of Bay City; sister Janet Kiehl of Bad Axe; brother Jeff Kiehl of Bad Axe; brother in law Robert Koglin of Port Hope, many nieces and nephews: Jonathon Koglin of Harbor Beach, Allan (Meagan) Koglin of Traverse City, Matthew Koglin of Traverse City, Eric Koglin of Port Hope, Amanda (Nathaniel) Warner of New York, Nicholas Wehner of Traverse City, Emily Kiehl of Bad Axe and Katie Kiehl of Bad Axe; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William; sister Colleen (Kiehl) Koglin and grandparents John & Alma Kiehl, Bernice Kiehl, and Floyd & Vivian Anderson.

Biography

Rusty William Kiehl, 52, of Jackson, Michigan formally of Verona passed away suddenly on November 17, 2014 in Marion Township. Rusty was born on October 10, 1962 in Bay City to Sharon Jean (Anderson) and to the late William James Kiehl. He was an avid truck driver, enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially ice fishing, playing Euchre, watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers and hanging out with his friends.
